Hey everyone!
When looking into Towns 2, I had a hard time seeing all the houses and therefore picking one. So, I made this mini-guide to help people pick a home biggrin
Went through all housing areas and took pictures of each home style as well as took notes as to the unique features of each town.
Apartments
Durem and Aekea feature apartments. The only aesthetics seen of your home are the fronts. Each "plot" contains 6 housing areas, 3 on each side stacked atop one another.
The community areas are the ground floors. Trees, robots, cafe tables, etc. can be shaken for gold. Flowers will grow in green patches. Trash appears randomly on ground floor.
Main difference other than looks for these two is that Aekea has stairs leading up to apartments which can be slightly difficult to navigate while Durem features an elevator in which your avatar is transported to floors.
Homes
Since Durem and Aekea have apartments, it is easy to tell that Gambino and Barton have "full-sized" homes. The houses in Towns 2 are noticeably bigger than those of its incarnation. The plots on these areas also have space for 6 tenants and are dispersed in a "random" way (I use the word random lightly because it is not a randomized location, just that the spots are not in block formation).
Community areas are fountain (Barton) and bonfire (Gambino) areas. Trees, trash bins, bushes, etc. can be shaken for gold. Flowers and trash will grow randomly.
No noticeable differences in trekking these areas.
