Tell me about ur first time ever in towns

When I first started back in 09, everyone was so mean to me in towns. They called me a noob and would tell me to get lost. I was also harrassed by mean PMs from these ppl the next day. It got to the point where I had to completely change my information so they wouldn't bother me anymore. Nowadays, everyone is so nice to the new ppl. They welcome them and everything. I didn't have that luxury and it makes me sad. I never said anything bad, yet I was treated horribly. But its ok now. And I was wondering, how were you treated in the towns when you first started?

Back in 2007 I was poor and I only had a winter rose dress to wear and apparently I went to a "People with Katana Only" place. emotion_0A0 I don't even know much item names.
And of course all the rich people ignored me, so I went on my way catching bugs and picking up trash and then if I picked flowers in front of them they tell me to move. I didn't and stood in front of their avatar to annoy them. emotion_dowant

I went in and didnt know what to expect and it was full of noobs cybering i was a newbie not a noob and proud of it

Well it was summer, with the pools and everything, and I just happened to be in the worst town at he worst time. There was a town wide argument over a spammer. Everything anyone said was in all caps and *'s over-rode the screen. It was a nightmare! D:

At the time, I was unaware of the whole reporting thing. If I had known then I would have reported them in a heartbeat. And now that I think about it, I wish I was ignored. But its not like I go into towns anymore. I kinda gave up on it.

My first time in towns was so, so long ago. In fact, I think it may have been when Towns was first put into action. (That shows how old I am, lol!)

I just remember getting on, and basically just clicking around on each square. I think it was all about picking up trash and catching bugs back then. No one really hung around and talked. Or at least I didn't. The main place to hang out wasn't in the center square or some random opening like these days, it was actually inside certain houses. Usually the first few houses in 1000, if they were open to the public.

Uhm, well I remember chilling in a spot off to the side just watching things happening, and this guy came up and yelled at me for being "in his corner" xD

I made my first account back in 2008 (obviously this is not my first account) and I was sitting under a tree and then some random user came behind my avatar and humped mine. eek This was back when you could make your avatar sit and stand up very fast, thus making it look like it was humping. (Not sure if you were around then). I'm kind of glad they got rid of that because it was rather annoying to go into towns or rally and constantly have to worry about some creep randomly humping your avatar because it looked good. neutral
