im trying to go to virtual hollywood and this blue not comes up i read it and did what it says but it didnt work. it was doing this for 2 hours and sometimes it also does it on other thing to like towns r something. its no fair so help please.

What exactly is wrong? (Describe in steps, what you are doing to get the glitch that you experience. Please list any and all error messages that you notice.) When I try the "Change Town Name" option, I get this error: Transaction failed in TS Anchor: 159 What browser are you using? I use Safari, but I have also tried using Firefox and I get the same error What Operating System are you using? (Windows XP, Windows 98, etc.) OS X (Mac) Do you have a Firewall/security system? (If so please list any and all!) No How long has this been going on? Since I first tried 3 days ago Has Towns ever worked properly before now? Everything else in town seems to work Does it happen all the time or is there a pattern to it? Yes Will Towns work properly with a different computer? N/A Are you having issues with other Gaian Games or just towns? Just the name thing... Anything else we should be aware of? Nope |

When I get onto this account and go to towns, everything loads except the bugs.
When I go on my other account, which has no friends or any other things except few clothing, everything, including the bugs load. They used to load, then all of a sudden in the same day, they disappeared. I wonder is there something the matter with my account? Or am I storing too much information on it... Even though I tried unadding friends i didnt even know or who haven't gotton on forever, deleted old private messages, and took everything out of my house, nothing would bring the bugs back. confused Edit: Well they came back the very next day after I posted this. Maybe it was luck, but if Gaia did anything to fix, thanks! |

I've been trying to get Towns to work for months now on this computer, but it never seems to. I've done everything I could. What exactly is wrong? Alright, I start up Towns and it works perfectly. I click on Directory and then go to one of my favorite Towns or maybe just one that my friend is in, it loads until it says "Joining Server" and then freezes there. I waited a whole hour once and it never moved. I haven't been able to join any servers because it always freezes right there. I don't think I have done anything to make it do that. What browser are you using? I've tried Firefox and IE. Both don't work. What Operating System are you using? My computer runs Vista. Do you have a Firewall/security system? I do, but I've tried turning it off/on and messing around with settings. Doesn't help. How long has this been going on? For about two/three months. Has Towns ever worked properly before now? Yes it has, it just suddenly stopped working. No computer settings had been changed or anything. Will Towns work properly with a different computer? Yes. It works on my Mom's laptop and our small Dell laptop. The two main computers it doesn't work on. Anything else we should be aware of? Well, I've suspected it might be a parental control thing that my parents put on the computer a few months ago. It had worked for a while afterwards, and then started freezing at the "Joining Server" part. I'm not sure, but they might have changed some settings in there that might restrict me from Towns if somehow the parental controls find some problem that the system thinks is "Porn" or "Adult" or "Illegal". |

Yes, I did; numerous times, in fact. What exactly is wrong? (Describe in steps, what you are doing to get the glitch that you experience. Please list any and all error messages that you notice.) I arrange my furniture and decorate my home to my liking; while doing so, I make sure that the light is on (by hitting "View" and then hitting the little sun button to turn the lights on). I then save my changes, and decide to invite a friend over to my home. When we arrive, all of the lights are off. My changes in furniture arranging stay the same; there's no problem there. It's the lighting; no matter what I do, whenever I go back into my home, the lights are out. And then, when I go to decorate my home again, the lights are off as if I had wanted them to stay off; they're not even on in the home decorator when I go in a second time. I've tried all of the suggestions on the first page of this thread, but none of them have successfully fixed this problem. What browser are you using? I use Internet Explorer to decorate my home, and I use both Internet Explorer and Firefox to go to my home in Towns. What Operating System are you using? (Windows XP, Windows 98, etc.) Microsoft Windows XP. Do you have a Firewall/security system? (If so please list any and all!) McAfee and Ad-Aware, if that counts as a security system. I don't think I have any other firewalls; there aren't any others that I know of or have ever used. How long has this been going on? The last time I was able to decorate my home was around Christmastime; I noticed, around the end of the school year (March to May), that my home lights weren't on (I learned this from the My Gaia page). I just recently figured out that Internet Explorer does let me decorate my home, while Firefox freezes and crashes whenever I try to. Has Towns ever worked properly before now? Yes; as I said, I was perfectly capable of decorating my home to my liking, in every respect (including lighting!), in December of 2008. Does it happen all the time or is there a pattern to it? As of now, there is no pattern; it is constant and unchanging. Will Towns work properly with a different computer? Towns works just fine with my computer and on the other computers I have tested this issue on; it's this lighting glitch that seems to be a problem with Gaia Online, as the results are always the same. Are you having issues with other Gaian Games or just towns? Please list any and all error messages that you notice.) -When I go to towns, I can go to the first town page, with the directory and Moira, etc, and when I go to the arrow, after I choose which town to go to, it gets stuck loading trying to connect to the server. Eventually I have to close the towns window. What browser are you using? -Safari, the latest version I believe. What Operating System are you using? I'm not sure if this is what you are talking about but I currently use a WEP key security. How long has this been going on? -Forever. (even though it's only been, what, three days since I joined Gaia?) Has Towns ever worked properly before now? -No, I have never been able to access Gaia Towns. Does it happen all the time or is there a pattern to it? -Yes, it happens every time. Will Towns work properly with a different computer? -Hmm... I haven't tried that. I will soon. Are you having issues with other Gaian Games or just towns? -Yes. I am also not able to access worlds, the cinema, fishing, etc. All for the same reason; it gets stuck loading trying to connect to the server.
