GAIA Town Bug Report Thread ~Read if you have towns issues~

i'm somewhat relieved to find out its not my computer that was wrong...

but i guess like so many of you are having the same problem...

i can't access the games...

when i click on towns...i get the open screen but i'm unbale to see myself or the mods like ian or moira's avatar...i can see there name and possibly type and move around...

also trying to go to the directory isn't working as well as the arrow going to the directory...

i hope it will be fix soon... 3nodding

What exactly is wrong? (Describe in steps, what you are doing to get the glitch that you experience. Please list any and all error messages that you notice.)
Towns loads up perfectly fine, at first. I can get to the Train Station with No problem. However, after clicking on a town to go to through the Navigation Menu...The Application locks up on "joining the server".

What browser are you using?

What Operating System are you using? (Windows XP, Windows 98, etc.)
Windows XP

Do you have a Firewall/security system? (If so please list any and all!)
How long has this been going on?
Yes. Webroot Spy Sweeper. Since earlier this week...Tuesday, I believe.

Has Towns ever worked properly before now? Yes

Does it happen all the time or is there a pattern to it? All the time, now...

Will Towns work properly with a different computer? Not sure.

Are you having issues with other Gaian Games or just towns? All Games AND Towns

Anything else we should be aware of? This sucks?

It's something that they need to fix on their end.

I'm having the same problem. I'm using Mozilla, but it doesn't work for both Mozilla or IE for me. I even disabled Peer Guardian hoping that this was the problem (had been giving me trouble before), but alas this was not the problem for me. I can get on the games and I could even get to some of the other towns last night. Yet when I try to get to my own house, it stalls. I just want to see my beautiful house. sad

Yes. Norton Anti-Virus. It's been on my computer since I bought it years ago.

well i kinda have the same problem to except every time i try to press a game it wont work
