I and many others have been repetitively posting that we are unable to place our houses and cannot see vacancy signs. I had my friend Corbick Midth sign on and go to the same plot as me and take a screen shot to show I CANNOT SEE VACANCY SIGNS!

Notice how they are at the same or relatively the same time and you can look to see that I do not have a house.

I'm having the same problem, even when I relocate my home from a non-existant place to drop it where I want, I can't see the vacant signs.

How the hell am I supposed to get a plot if I can't see the damn vacant signs?

I can confirm this as a real glitch, I have the same problem.


Did you try everything posted above?
Yes. I have cleared my cache and cookies. Additionally, my other character can see the signs and only this character cannot. I also downloaded other browsers, but it keeps happening.

What exactly is wrong?

I wanted to live near my friends, so I opened towns in Firefox and went to the neighborhood where my friends live. It had 3 free plots. When it loaded, I saw no 'vacancy' signs anywhere-- even though the directory map clearly showed 'green' plots in the same area, and there were only 3 houses up and no one else around.

So I cleared my cache and cookies and tried again. Nothing. I changed browser (to Opera), also nothing. I then tried Internet Explorer and Netscape. Nothing.

So I used an alternate character to check the same neighbourhood-- the vacancy signs were there. To this character, it's like they're invisible.

I then tried the housing comission and clicked 'i'll place my home' and 'take me to gaia towns' -- the vacancy signs didn't appear here, either. I then made the NPC place the house for me-- which she did, that worked. I thought doing that then using the 'relocate' button might clear the glitch so I could place the house in the same neighbourhood as my friends, but after using 'relocate' the signs still don't show.

I also tried remodeling my home to see if that cleared the glitch, it didn't. So I'm down 1,500 and still nothing.

Again, if I log on as an alt or a friend logs on (same browser, same comp), the signs show-- as this character, they do not, regardless of what browser I use or which computer I use.

I can get a house if a use Josie's auto-pick thingie but the problem is I can't pick where I want to live at all =

What browser are you using?

I use Firefox 1.5.0.9 -- But I tried it with Netscape 8, Opera 9, and Internet Explorer 7. None worked, none showed the 'vacancy' signs for this character.

What Operating System are you using?
Windows 2000 on one comp, XP Home on the other.

Do you have a Firewall/security system? (If so please list any and all!)
No for one and AVG Free for the other


Does it happen all the time or is there a pattern to it?
All the time, for this account.

Will Towns work properly with a different computer?
No, not if I'm logged in as 'Dammie' -- if my friend uses it to log his character or I log an alt, they see the signs, 'Dammie' does not.

Are you having issues with other Gaian Games or just towns?
Just towns. And just with 'Dammie'

Speaking of, why isn't there an inventory arranger for towns items? They're really cluttering up my otherwise organized inventory.

What exactly is wrong? (Describe in steps, what you are doing to get the glitch that you experience. Please list any and all error messages that you notice.) I am not able to place my home in vacent lots. Indeed, I don't see the vacencee signs at all.

What Operating System are you using? (Windows XP, Windows 98, etc.) Windows XP

Umm maybe just click the "MY HOME" button in the top right corner when you click Directory?Thats what I do...Then add it to favs just in case.

What exactly is wrong? Towns won't load. Ever. It has been like this for a few months. I cannot browse anywhere but the default train station. When I motion to go to another map, or my house, it stays stuck on "Joining Server."
What browser are you using? IE 7 and Firefox 2. It happens to both.

What exactly is wrong? When I try and go to a town it just stays on Joining Server. It dose not load even when I keep it up there forever. The first time I went on the Towns it worked, after that it stoped working.

When I enter Gaia Towns..

I go to talk to people.. I can talk to them for about five minutes and then the 'speech box' locks up..it won't show what I'm saying but also it won't show what the people around me are talking about.

I go to type something - it doesn't show up.

People are talking around me (I'm sure of it) and I don't see what they're saying. It's like the whole screen locks up (talking wise) but I can still move and walk around. I just can't talk to anyone.

What's up with that?

Help me fix this please!
