To me it gives you a lot more options in the way of materials and brushes.

For instance what I used for that drawing was something the called Liquid Ink.
They also have all assortments of digital media's to use.

Charcoal, Crayon, Pencil, Airbrush, Watercolor...etc etc...just gives a nice rounded out choice of things to work with for some beautiful and stunning effects. @@

I love it.
I prefer it over Photoshop at the moment.
