I don't think Gaia is a place to have weapons, honestly. Even though when Gaia does go Beta, we will have them anyways. I truly love and get excited when donation items and item updates come out. It's complete chaos and yet bliss at the same time. This last item update with the 70's clothes were very nice and it thrilled the hell out of every member on Gaia I'm sure. When Du'rem opened up, every forum lit up like a school girl on graduation. It was purely a sense of love and dedication when your updates for those fields come out.

So those are my choices.

Mini-games and quests definitely got my vote. Weapons would just be another stupid accessory and will support violence. stare ...lol xd

I think mini games and quest, becuase people would have more to talk about and would create a community of friends to help each other conquer them. More guilds! (YAY! blaugh ) This would also make Gaia more fun and exciting as players would be excited to win the prizes and would be more frequently online (but then that might slow the servers down sweatdrop )
As for pets, I think they would be nice and cute, but many people are making pets for siggys? Also, Gaia would become more like Neopets (as said earlier) because players would try to feed pets, care for them etc.
Erm.. weapons eh? Is Gaia gonna have a battledome for players vs players? eek This is gonna get more people to shout out in boards "Fight meh! My avvie is awesome and I challenge you all!!" or something like that. Unless I've misunderstood and that you mean weapons for our avvies to hold? We would look more cooler but then again more need for gold. gonk
Overall I think all the ideas are really good and everyone has their own opinion right? But I think the one everyone would like the most is FASTER SERVERS! (Hehe had to put that in caps xd ) That way more people could post and earn more gold. 3nodding

Time to insert my opinion amoungst the crowd, I suppose. Well, faster servers should probably come before most of the others, as said before. Mini-games/quests would be good, but I'm not so sure about giving out money. Sure, a lot of you want a faster way to make money, and if you get that, you'll have twice the money sitting in your account, but then the items you want will be twice the price, as well. Weapons should, and probably will be delayed further, mostly because a lot of the older users don't like the idea all too much, which would cause gaia to lose a few members. Pets can be good, and can be done without looking like neopets. Just make them appear next to your avatar (what I think you were planning anyways), like someone else has said before. The staff and custom service/support are pretty nice on gaia, so there's no big deal there. New towns not so much, you can add more clothes and items without them, so maybe they should be a secondary objective.
