The avatar fashion is just.....cool. The clothes are very well designed. So I just had to vote for fashion place. It helped me develop my style.

I see it as a place to meet new people. Make friends.. and maybe even more then that. You can also make a char you wish to be.

I'd say that it is the best thing ever..........the best place to meet new people
     
First I'm hacked.
Then I get my account back ten months later.
Now I can't trade, sell items on the Marketplace, or get PMs answered.

It's an online community. It has games, but that's not the biggest part of it. The forums are the center of the community, where most people meet, talk, and have fun.

As I have said from day one, it's an interactive forum. Not a game. Not just a forum/community etc. It's an interactive forum with loads of cool people, but some right idiots. Just liek in real life surprised xd

Ah, what is Gaia? Most of the time I look at is as an online group of people with a large amount of spare time, and nothing constructive to do with it.

Before I ever joined, I had the mistaken impression that Gaia was a MMORPG.

But since I've joined, I've described it as a "glorified (interactive) forum" with avatar customization and some Flash mini-games.

With the creation of the Towns, and talk of a battle network system, it seems more like a wanna-be, or a low-grade MMORPG now.

I mean, people go on Gaia to chat, kill time, play a bunch of mini-games, go on item quests, join guilds, and occasionally, we get site-wide events that follow a main storyline.

I voted "online community", but I think that's way too general a label.
