Actually, no. Lucas already had them in mind when he produced American Graffitti , so that series shouldn't have been on this list.

The Matrix. Definitely. It was groundbreaking, philosophically challenging and, if you want it to be, just fun to watch.

My a** it was.

The philosophy was one guy could control a computer by thinking it. Wow.

The Godfather is clearly the best. To sever a man's prize horse's head and stow it in his bed without even alerting him.

Anywhere, anytime, even in your bed, at night, on your own property. You were never safe.
