Pirates... Even though Lord of the Rings is my favorite up there, it wasn't an original idea (movie version)... So Pirates. (which tecnically isn't original either (based on the ride))

epic movies aren't epic because of originality. they're epic because they're epic, silly. potc isn't even close to epic.

I am stuck between two of the greatest trilogies ever made by man...LOTR or Star Wars.

They both have given the movie going public the best spesial effects money could buy on a shoe string budget. Many do not realize star wars was out of place when it was due to be released people where addicted to Bond type movies. The studios gave it a small budget cause they thought it was gonna be a waste of money.

LOTR shared the same fate, no one wanted to fund the first film cause no one thought the film would make it. A unkown director and unknown stars there was nothing that spelled success for it. Look at it now. The lack of very well known actors in the movie may not of been intensional but I think it was the best thing to happen to it.

But in the end after debating over it I went with Star Wars. Why cause Yoda kicks a**!! and lightsabers rule all weapons. My only regret is that they did not have the chance to help fight in the battle of Helm's Deep the jedi would of kicked some serious Urukai butt!

This poll was hard. I mean there were 3 really good choices: Star Wars, Pirates, & Lord of the Rings. All 3 are good, but the toughest decision was between Star Wars & Lord of the Rings. Don't get me wrong Pirates was really good, but it just can't compare to the other 2. I did chose Lord of the Rings, however, because I didn't really like the newer Star Wars movies that much (the originals were 10 times better).
