Doubtfully. Even if I do meet people IRL who I then look up on Gaia I look them up by their usernames that they tell me, not their real names. This is Gaia, not Facebook or the Yellowpages like stated.

one of the dangerous things you can put out on the web is your real name attached to other details (like what you can fill in for your profile like location and occupation)

I don't think you should be able to find ppl via their real names.... Makes it one step closer for a freak to find you. If they are your real friends in real life, you can just tell your nick via MSN, Facebook, Telephone, Text Messaging, etc. etc. and so on and so forth.

I definitely feel this is a bad idea. First of all, it could be easily abused by stalkers/creepsters, and second of all, there are people who wouldn't know any better than to set it to public and use their real name. confused
