Welcome to Gaia! ::

first off
i still suck at all these games

BUT
my main issues with this 'event' only like one or 2 of them actually promote any sort of exercise and calling them olympics seems really off to me... i know they are 'rejected' games, but i had assumed that they would be something more athletically based

ykno...to make the youth that are on this site want to go out and not sit at the computer all day figuring out how to get a 10 at wash liam...

games like the crunch ones would have been more abundant, maybe even some games that gave people tips on how to be healthy...

but no... instead we are all sitting about pressing buttons and clicking pixels...

idon't mean to sound like a nag, or a preachy loser...but i had a lot of high hopes that Gaia would support a healthy habit while at the same time boosting traffic for their side of course... with their subscription base you would think they would try to get more positive messages across, but lo' it is the same as most other companies, and they just want you to stare blankly at the screen every so often driving out to Target to get a cash card so that you can walk around towns bragging about how cool you are and making fun of the cyber-ers(i love to make fun o them too...lol)

i really appreciate the amount of work that went into the setup of this and i can understand the hick-ups that they are fixing for the benefit of the players, but i feel like this was a bit of a miss and not truly in the olympic spirit...a lil disappointed i iz...

feel free to flame me..! 4laugh

It sounds like you haven't played the "Inflate" game - that one will really work your forearms wink

Just kidding - thanks for the feedback. Naturally it's tough to encourage physical activity through the Interweb, but we'll put that on the list for next time. You could always use a wireless keyboard and participate while workin' it on a treadmill smile

haha
i have actually done similar ideas

using joy2key i have set up for a friend of mine a setup for WoW(talk about an unhealthy gaming habit) using a DDR pad, doubt she uses it anymore but it was really fun to set up...

my first image when i heard rejected olympics was something along the lines of lets say grunny soccer... or shot-put rufus.... ideas for next time maybe...lol
I'm playing the Day 5 games, but every time I get to the 'enter the code' game, I have to restart, because I'm on an Apple laptop, and there is no page-up or page-down button. Is there any way to get around this?

EDIT: Nevermind, I managed to figure it out. I just have to hold the function button ('fn') and press the up or down arrow.
On the subject of score glitches...

User Image

1. Are you aware that some people have scores of more than 10 due to a glitch in the scoring of the "don't shoot" type games?

2. Are you going to correct the scores so they do not unfairly benefit any team?

Thank you for the info, PatrickStumpKoala! blaugh

Anyway, does anyone realise that the Wash Liam game always give us 10.0 no matter how slow you clean up those bubbles?
I think the developers must have favourited Liam over other NPCs.... so, would it be a possibility that they'd mark up Akea's scores for the winner announcement?

lol I dunno~ rofl

What about slash (with no "only" qualifier)? I have two issues with it: The objects take forever to come onto the screen, and the slash string takes several seconds to fade before I can do another. Therefore, even if I slash everything as fast as the game will let me, the only possible score is 2 sad

"Drive off the cliff" is frustrating (as are so many other games). I stand on the accelerator from the instant the game starts, but I still score only 2 (after 5.6 seconds). Is there some other secret control? It seems that many of the quickness games are mis-calibrated so that the only possible score is 2 (because the game takes too long to run even if the player performs optimally).

Thanks to the devs very much. They finally made the scoring system fair.
lol fair, I called it a cheap bribe.
we devi never made it undfair.... you just suck
Is the Note game scoring actually going to be fixed? : O It'd be nice to have straight ten's instead of a 9.99 to make it all's uneven.

Just wondering. <3
