Comic: It takes place after the Barton team is assembled. Shorty (That's me!) is going to visit her friend Rina (A Gaian NPC) at the flower shop to ask her if she is going to compete.

About the Comic:
The idea came form the sudden creative boom in the Manga leading up to the Olympic event. With Angle Imps and Dark Elves and all that jazz we decided to finally do what we have been telling ourselves we should do for a while now. That is make an AVI comic! The comic takes place in the world of Gaia. At this point we are just working on the Olympic Games comic just to introduce characters and start the ball rolling. We are SO excited about this and hope you guys will be too. The comic itself is drawn page by page, on Adobe photo shop. Meaning we sit here with a mouse and move it around to make pictures. We are very proud of our work so when criticizing please be constructive. =D Anywasy we need to get back to drawing!! Feel free to send in your character ideas.

*Please remember that creativity and quality will win out over speed. Just because you are the first person to send in an application doesn't mean you'll get the spot.
Literacy Ninja
The Rules
Ok so the general rule of thumb is the more creative the character the better chance you have of getting a spot. Please send in applications once. If you are denied do not resend. There are a lot of people on Gaia who want to see themselves in a comic.
But you can apply for other roles. For example lets say you want to be a main character. But you look and act like someone who has already been accepted! You probably wouldn't get that spot. If this happens we will allow you to change your profile one time.
If you want to apply for a standing spot in the comic.
Here's what we don't want!
{} Avis that are too cluttered or to bland. Listen we have to draw these on Adobe with a mouse. If you send us and AVI that we think is either too simple or too complex we will tell nicely and allow you to TekTek a new one. NOTE: Don't change your Avatar up so much that we can't tell who it is or send us your "Dream Avi" we will update Avatars in the comic when we see fit.
{} We don't need fifty "Cool guys" and Ninety-nine "sweet girls"? Personality is where you prove to us that you have a brain in there. Think about how you really are and try and morph that into a character that is UNIQUE. The more Unique the better chance you have of getting in.
{} OK this comic is based on Gaia and we will be running into the NPCs a lot. So on that note we don't want any of these characters:
"OMG!! Ian is soooo hawt I'm his supper sexy girlfriend!"
or
"Laim's such a dog, but he finds me and falls in love and never looks at another girl again. ^_^"
or
"Dude, I'm like Moria's twin brother. =D"
No, no, the NPC's already have background stories and personalities and all that jazz. This comic will NOT be changing them. We might tweak here in there, but in ways that make sense. So if you are going to include an NPC in your background story please make it congruent to what has already been laid out for you by the staff of Gaia.

{}FYI we don't really care how expensive it is just as long as its not like...twenty gold....

[] People who know Gaia well enough to contribute to a story.

[] Uniqueness (Have we said that enough yet?)
[] Remember this comic is like a role play so we would like people who know how to write and come up with ways tho place their character in the story line.
[] Put Unique in your profile
[] People who write a lot generally get our attention. But don't write us a novel. Let the story iron out those plot twists.
Here's what we don't want!
