Well, when one gets into a pokeball... it's quite spacey, with enough room for you.
You see, under the terms of energetic balance and laws, the only thing that happens is that one 'shrinks' to the size of the pokeball, so basically you fit no matter the size. It's a compression and uncompression that don't really affect one's structure. So basically, once in, it doesn't matter if the ball itself shrinks or not...
