Forum Downtime, Now Resolved

We pushed a patch which had a caching bug in it which caused the forum databases to overload. We were able to patch it and we expect the forums to stabilize momentarily. Sorry guys!

Misc fixes
We are pushing a fix to the inventory:games tab now that broke when the forums broke about an hour ago.

The code patch that broke the forums earlier also did some positive things:

• Profile "zOMG badge" tooltips are fixed (at long last).
  
• Improvements to the site for users with HTTPS-ONLY browser add-on.
  
• Misc. security fixes.

Also, I queued up a fix to the purple "header login tabs" for tomorrow. It's not fixed yet, but we know about it and it will be fixed soon.

Site Outage Recovering

Hey everyone, some power issues caused us to go offline. We needed to disable the site economy to help the site recover and become stable again. Things should be back to normal in a few minutes.

Inventory pagination

We just fixed the pagination in inventory, avatar, trade, and anything else that uses the inventory tabs.

Your pagination will no longer disappear when you switch tabs!

Inventory Problems

We're aware of some issues where inventory is not showing up correctly for some users. We're still trying to recover from the database outage we had earlier. Hang in there with us while we try and resolve. We'll post an update when we know more.

Inventory Glitch Update

Good news, it looks like we've resolved most of the issues with the database and problems with inventory data.

If you're having trouble, try this first:

1) unequip everything on your avatar
2) save your avatar
3) rebuild your avatar
4) check if your problem still exists

If you have items that are still missing or extra items, try busting your inventory cache by doing this:

1) buy a cheap item from a gold store
2) check your inventory

zOMG! DC fixed!

It was brought to our attention that daily chance in zOMG! was broken, after lots of investigation we discovered where the problem was and released a fix.

Special thanks to Lanzer for this discovery and the subsequent fix.

AT Scavenger Hunt Fixed
Hey guys, the Adventure Time scavenger hunt has been fixed and will now allow you to see and claim more than one sword a day.

Correction: zOMG! DC fixed!
I incorrectly stated that the fix to the zOMG! daily chance system was released. In fact it is still in quality assurance testing and should be released within the next couple of days. I apologize for the confusion.

Faster web page loads
It turns out that 93-97% of our webpage advertisements were being greedy and not waiting for the content on the page to finish loading before the ads did. We fixed this and you should see a noticeable improvement in page speeds.

Also, the zOMG DC patch went out a short while ago to all servers. Thanks, Lanzer, for fixing that!

Buccaneer Boardwalk Refund

The store sellback for Buccaneer Boardwalk Headstart Ticket has been set to 300,000 Gaia Gold in response to community concerns about the completion of the Bucaneer Boardwalk area in zOMG!.

Faster Page loads successful!
It looks like last Thursday's adjustments to when Ads load has sped up our average page load by more than 1 second. Over the weekend, we saved about 1 year's worth of time waiting for pages to download!
I will keep an eye out for other places where we can save download times.

Marketplace Preview Fixed
The preview module in the marketplace and the EI Museum broke about two weeks ago. It should work again now (as of a few minutes ago).
