A: no way. like mentioned, too simple. there so much more u can do than just browsing forums..
B: also really simple. but better. tells more about gaia.
C: i like this one, cracks me up. just more color needed. and tell more about the games.
D: is good. i like it. tells me exactly what i can do on gaia.
E: doesnt tell anything bout the site sad but i like the picture ~
F: is used in too many game-sites already.. gets boring.
G: cute. i like how you kept the same hairstyle but with different cloths.
H: talk2hand poor graphic.
I: no no no...! doesnt make me wanna join. + you cant really sit on your furniture [which sucks]

I really dislike the ones that say Step 1: Shop --> Dress Up ---> Show Off

I mean, there is so much MORE to do here. We can play games, chat in the forums, and IM. I don't think the main part of Gaia is to show off your wealth.

My remarks on each one:

A. This page is simply stupid and boring to look at. It has no appeal and wouldn't really persuade anyone to join. I mean, come on, it's pathetic really.

B. This page is also rather boring but it is most definately better than the first. It just needs more flair.

C. While humorous, on a scale of 1 to 10 I would give this page a 3. confused It's really...blah. It's a cute phrase but it isn't eye-catching. Plus, with trying to advertise diverse possibilities, both the avis look dark. Why not try something like a fire faerie and a wolf person or something. You know...things that aren't really in any way similar.

D. I thought this page was one of your better ones. Good job.

E. While it's a nice homepage, you do remember that this site is PG-13, right? And, while cussing may be alright for PG-13, you do know that there are nosey parents out there and not all parents like their children cussing. Therefore, you know how many kids could be banned from Gaia if their parent's see this log-in page? You don't want your users to not be allowed on, do you? You would stop getting money that way.

F. Another nicely done one.

G. Cute and simple. I like that you were able to make it small and not cluttered but at the same time have soft and appealing colors to make people at least intrigued enough to read the first page.

H. Now this is another great one. It captivates the person and makes it really tempting to click that link as if it would take you to a character generation link.

I. Meh...this page just strikes me as another blah page. While it may have a lot of colors which is always good, it looks like it has too many colors. It kind of reminds me of a kiddie menu or one of those games with the beads on iron bars that you have to slide them accross at hospitals. Why not try a different color combination that isn't so "kiddie?"

J. Nice, simple and to the point. It's very classy. Not really all that exciting and you actually have to be motivated to read it all but it's still one of the better ones. Maybe try other colors? That purple right there just looks so..."buisness" like and no one really wants to be reminded of a work enviornment when they come on Gaia.

K. I like the picture and the simplicity of it. It's very beautiful but, unless someone already knows about Gaia, I think it might confuse people. Of course, the confusion could also be good because they would click the link wondering what it is they're joining. Kind of like being brainwashed into joining some cult. rofl.

L. That's a very adorable one except it bugs me that the final girl is wearing nothing but cash shop items. It could make people feel like if they don't go to the cash shop, they're inferior. confused I mean, I know that Gaia wants everyone to go to the cash shop but, should it really be that obviously stated?


All in all though, the last three were better than most of the first nine.

Of the new 3, I prefer K.I would want to join a site that had a login page like that. 3nodding

J and L just don't capture my interest the same way. I think L would've been more relevant back in the days when Peasant Clothes were granted upon joining; nowadays, new members have a choice of several nice-looking sets of clothing, so the "rags" bit must be meant hyperbolically. J seems somehow uninteresting to me. I'm not sure if I'm put off by the dull background color or by the rather bland things the characters have to say. I do like that this one mentions Guilds, though; guilds are important places to find friends on Gaia.

J seems the most straightforward of the new three.
K isn't really representative of the site. I would join and then be disappointed if Gaia had a login page like that.
L is more of the "this + this = this" that they seem to like. The trouble is that it's oversimplifying things.

Of the three I like J the best because it explains things better than the other two.

On the new ones that were added:

J doesn't seem to capture any interest. It's bland.

K's art is gorgeous, simply amazing, but....it doesn't represent the site. Perhaps it could be used as a background with stuff explaining Gaia overtop of it with the actual avatars and whatnot.

L is simplistic, but I don't love it or hate it. I would really appreciate that you emphasize FORUMS, instead of people getting here and expecting it to be MMO based when really zOMG is an addition to the forum site to give more to do. I have heard of so many people who never use the forums, which is sad.

I absolutely love the World one (letter K?). The art is simply gorgeous, and it's beauty makes me even less fond of the others.
