No,no. At the beginning of season 1, Nikki goes to Jessica's grave to see her. Jessica WAS an actual person but when Nikki's doppelganger powers awoke, she took on Jessica as an alternate person. Every knew from the beginning of season one that Nikki was a twin but Tracy came as a surprise in season 3.

I was hoping to see her when Micah came back. My best guess would be that she's with him.

I;'m not sure if this... but I think she did come out alive. I think that's the reason why Nikki died in the first place, by saving her. Though on that, I'm a little fuzzy on.
