We can't make promises yet on what can/can't be included when it debuts next month, but we want to hear from you! Thanks in advance for your input!

It looks nice. I think it needs a little more color, it was a little dull. You could also have a section about Admins/Mods/etc. and a "what to do" type section for newbies.

Well, I liked it quite a bit. It's much cleaner than the current one.

But a few more articles might be nice. There's currently not an article on skintone under the avatar section. Also, a section on where you can learn more about Gaia's Storyline might be nice. One think I liked about zOMG is that there's a quick plot reference in the Help Menu. Something like that might not fit in with the help database, but even something as simple as a "Who's Who" or even a "Which shop sells what kind of item" would be nice.
Well it definitely has that sterile help center look ^^;; But it does appear to be organized and easy to navigate so far. I think you should add a link to the TOS. My suggestion is also to include some sort of section for scams explaining the different types to watch out for.


Also going back to the TOS perhaps a boiled down version with an explanation of what things like trolling, flaming, and botting are. For someone younger or new to the site they may not know what this terminology refers to.
well i liked that its easy to navigate thru big pro!!!..but what i hope expands more is how-to steps and giving actual solutions to problems..i was looking in the profile section and it seems to just give a definition so it defeats the purpose of actually assisting with a solution as rather informing with an educational description...maybe giving examples with step-by-step instructions would be more beneficial for everyone.. 4laugh

                          It was easy to navigate through which will be good for new users, that's for sure. Perhaps add more colour but still keep it clean and simple.

                          I was looking at the Formatting section and I think some of them could be a little cleaner and clearer. Such as the URL section. The gap between the example URL and the explanation about how they aren't automatic hyperlinks isn't necessary. Then when you go to show how to put custom tags in perhaps put a sub-title in instead of another large gap. It just seems sort of messy to me that way. It also can be helpful because if someone already knows how to link a URL but wants to know how to do a custom tag they don't have to read through it all just to figure out how to do a custom tag.

                          You might also want to explain what ImgMap is because I still have no idea and I'm pretty big on coding.

                          I agree, you may want to add a URL to the ToS.

                          This may have been in here but I didn't see it, could you possibly add a topic about what each Forum and SubForum is about? I don't think anyone really reads the little description underneath either that or it just isn't clear enough.

                          Sorry it's all so negative and quick to criticize. Those were just a few things that came to the front of my mind after I looked at it. D:
Hmm... I like it, actually.
However, it needs more color! 3nodding Maybe the classic pink and blue of the logo? It seems bland to me.
Also, I strongly reccomend having the ToS one of the top links. I also think the video overview is over-doing it, though, because it seems much too formal for Gaia.

That's just my two cents. 3nodding
So far the new help section looks promising, but I don't know how to submit a ticket.

okay..here is my 2 cents as well:

1. color didn't matter to me.looks fine as is.

2. who cares for the ToS..just because it's so over used..if you usually use gaia you would know of them , (just a waste of time) not that I ignore the ToS just that most people should know it by now. I know it's engraved into my head.

3. looked easy to navigate because it looks like the computer regular help. with the plus and minus signs before the topics just like a regular help section. hopefully everyone know who to use it. though i often wonder of the intellegence of some younger gaia users. sorry by bad , just an observation.

4. would be helpful if there a place where to place your problems..maybe even a section classified by which type of problem then maybe a few scenarios to choose from. (such as that girl posting she has a problem already) I see alot of the same question asked in different forums.

now what I think would be helpful is actually have a place where you go through a tutorial much like the tutorials given in zomg..with the npc's at the different points. however i do not know if anyone would actually have the patience to just do the tutorial (where everyone just wants the answer and not really willing to actually do any "work" to look up the anwswer. I just seem to see where they just go to any forum and place their own "topic" thus creating the duplicate of meriad of dumb topics.

well. after posting on the topic of that one person having an issue. I too, have noticed an important issue that is costing Gaia money..real money. It's an issue i had on the purchasing of Gaia Cash. I would rather explain it in a different format however there seems to be none for this. I tried to submit a report however i just see a report that only uses actual hacking problem and ..just hacks (which it isnt) or other which brings you back to hacking ) is there a way to submit a report or question with just a general category if you questions doesnt apply to any of the pre-chosen caterogie title.?
well, anyhow, my problem arose because I had my account set up to be billed through my mom's phone bill however we changed phone numbers and now it will not let me put in the new number. (no it's not a cell number either) and it is the same provider. so just wonder if gaia new that this was keeping them from reaping in actual gaia cash customers waiting to purchase via phone bill option. ) sorry i talk so much
sorry i confuse my self sometimes , so sorry if this is unclear.

anyway. getting back to the site topic. it's easy to use , just wish there were more question. i understand it's probably not up and running so looking forward to the many questions to be seen the possibilities are endless......

edit: i just noticed the tabs at the top that did bring up more topics/questions. my apologies.
also. is there a way to add just a tab or just a way to bring you back to the "first" page. just found it wierd to navigate to getting back. (maybe it was just me) again apologies around.

being creative users, i think you might want to make an easy link to a BBCode guide, and also some guidance on the necessity of allowing some scripting, (which ones are "safe" wink so new users can easily customize their sigs and get their houses fixed up, etc. I recall those were areas requiring some research and patience... 3nodding


It looks great, and very friendly!
    From what I've tried, it's pretty easy to use. But as mentioned before, it needs more color. A link to the ToS would be a nice add, too. Otherwise, it's looking good. 3nodding

Dislikes: That there is still no option at the Contact/Inquiry for to report Missing Items lost during trades, gifting etc.

I made the experience that the Gaia Staff answering to these things aren't really informed about this issue and seem not to know, what they are talking about or what to do, to solve the problem.

That may sound harsh, but I am somebody who's waiting to get back his lost Cash Shop Items since August last year and meanwhile really pissed off of the Gaia Staff due to that issue.

So that would be an option to make a place where users can report their lost items and the Staff is really helpful.
