I have also helped out with some various other tutorials such as this one.
The zOMG Elite Player's Handbook Majority of it was done by Uron Teff and Hopeless Dark.

  • How many hours per week you might be able to volunteer (any level of help would be appreciated).

I am usually online from two to six or more hours. Therefore I'd be able to contribute from around 14 to 42 hours per week to this project. And I'd really love to help out.

I would like to quote the introduction of the zOMG Elite Player's Handbook which I wrote (and that Jan linked earlier).
Quote:

Since I started to play zOMG, people asked "is the Mantis ring any good" or "is G'hi really worth it" or "you don't use Fitness? How lame". Of course these questions were answered at that time; nevertheless, I felt that there is more to a ring than "a minor bonus on all abilities" or "it has a fast cool down time". To answer all the questions out there concerning Rings, Ring Set, G'hi or Rage I always used guides that were placed in the public zOMG forum, but I was never satisfied. That is why I chose to make a thread called zOMG Ring Set Research Lab a while back. With this thread that answered almost all questions concerning Ring Sets the idea of a bigger project arose in my mind: The zOMG Research Center.
How many hours per week you might be able to volunteer (any level of help would be appreciated).

I spend about 50 hours per week working on Gaian things, whether it be for my clan zOMG Elite, The Complete Gaian Itemlist, or personal enjoyment (which seems to be the lesser portion of my time rofl ).

Uhm... it's kind o in a clan... but i assume you guys are admins, so you can veiw it, correct? http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=15257221&is_clan=1
I know it's nothing fancy, but i'm more of a help on What you can do where. i'm not very helpful if it came to like "Why is this glitching up?" or "how does the marketplace work?" Also, i am majoritly literate, and I understand that the formatting in that guide wasn't the best, and that it helps to use indentions with ---- in white text while left aligned. so if i can be of any help, let me know. I am typicly a good editor. and i can be a very enthusiastic writer.

Here is a small little guide to help take screenies. In fact, I posted the thread to get help myself, because I was having trouble as well. But there are a couple different methods and ways to take screenies posted in this helpful thread. Here is another Sample:

It's helpful information for people who do not know how to take screenies, and who wish to learn how. Everybody learns something new everyday. This is a good opportunity. Here is some small informative, insights on how to catch screenies.

Would you be interested in english/french translation?
A lot of gaians are native french speakers, coming from Canada, France, Belgium, North Africa... and they dont even have a look on TOS just because it is written in english.

I can give at least 3-5 hours a week for you, my beloved virtual home heart

here is an example of what I have done for a french guild:

I'd be willing to help out at least 2 hours a day.

Found a bug on Gaia? Chances are, you're not the first. Sorry. The bright side is someone might've found a workaround for the bug. Consider checking out the Bug Reports & Technical Support forum.
If you don't see the bug you've encountered there, start a new post with a description of the bug (the more detail, the better), a screenshot (if you have one), where and when you encountered the bug, what you were doing when you encountered it, and some information about your computer, such as the operating system, browser you are using, and any browser plugins you might have enabled. After you make your post, wait around a bit for a reply. Just because a developer hasn't replied, doesn't mean they haven't seen your thread, so just hang tight.
If it's been a day and you still haven't received a reply and your post is not on the first page of the forum, consider making a bump. A bump is simply a post with the word "Bump."
Thank you for helping Gaia find and fix bugs on the site! smile

I Cappie I: There's no problem with someone linking somthing that someone else has linked (Unless it's to a guide they didn't create and claiming as their own), if that's what you're implying. I'm sure you'll find many things such as guides and forums linked here when more people start posting ^___^
