I was gonna mention that. I turn mine off when I go to bed at night - and I DO go to bed at night. That means all the lights and everything is off too.

Growing veggies and things in your back yard is always good.

my friend told me to pull cabs of recycle plastic bottle since they not recyble so every time u put plastic bottle on recycle bins take out cab
so they won't be toss aside since the cap have to be taken manually so they just don't bother: blaugh

- Eat fewer processed foods. It takes energy to make them in a factory plus ship them halfway across the country.
- Eat a little less meat. It requires tons of corn which take up lots of space. Requires lots of energy too.
- Try to buy vegetables locally. Farmers markets are everywhere these days.
- When showering only use the water to rinse. Otherwise turn it off when you are putting shampoo in your hair ect. If you want to relax then take a bath instead of a shower.

I forgot to mention (cant edit) thatwhen I go shopping, if I forget my reusable bags and have to use the paper and plastic... I save those. The plastic grocery bags I use to line my living room trash can with, and my paper bags gets used for putting in the newspapers and plastic water bottles and the like that go into recycling when the bin is full.
