How easy is it to transform an idea into a finished piece of music?

Is there any one piece of music that reminds you of a specific period in your life?
I.e. when I was travelling to my GCSE exams I used to listen to Time to say goodbye sung by Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman & this reminds me of that time.

Jeremy Soule, you ask? The guy behind the music for zOMG!, Company of Heroes, Guild Wars, Elder Scrolls, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Neverwinter Knights? Yes, that guy! Question:

Why did you force the shutdown of the KH-insider video game soundtrack download site. And appeanrtly get the FBI involved with it

I understand that because you download it you are steeling from the artist. But it is dificult to even find the official soundtracks in stores or official company websites of most games espically for games that are several years old.

I don't really have a question...but I just wanted to say a couple things (because I'm a nerdy fan like that)...

First Off; I would like to declare you my all-time FAVORITE composer, EVER. =D I've played all four Guild Wars, Oblivion, and I still have the Harry Potter GOF soundtrack on my mp3 player. It just never gets old. Ever. (Neither do the GWs soundtracks =D I really like what you did with Factions and Nightfall XD but of course the good 'ol Prophecies music NEVER gets old, right...)

Second off; I would like to express to you the jealousy that has ever been growing in my grey matter since I heard your music in the movie theater (HP GOF). I've always wanted to compose music but, as it is, it seems I'm more of a photographer...=D which is fine, whatever, but that doesn't make me ANY less jealous of your purely AWESOME composing skills. =P

So I just wanted to get that off of my chest. O.o You probably are afraid that I'm going to like, stalk you now, you know; watch you in your sleep and all that. But I promise I won't. ^w^

I'm really bad at goodbyes, so I guess good luck in the future and...I'll always buy the soundtracks/albums of your music, promise!!! XD
