in our family of eight, we dont have much money to go around, so restaurants are out of the question. so we make breakfast for her, serve it to her in bed, so all of the chores, make cake, be really good, do all of her chores as well as our own, and give her presents and cards. I try to keep the kids on their best behavior all day, as they should every day.

i wake up tell her happy mothers day....i ussually dont cook in morning since she always gets up early and can hear me walking about (freaky actually)
i dont make reservations (thats weird and shet)
gifts like roses and stuffed animals are dumb(she doesnt really like em but she does like flowers)
you know what she says (i dont really need anything from you kids im happy already)
bullshet i end up giving her a home made card (am 17 yrs old and i dont care if i make cards 3nodding )

Since my mother is the spawn of saten/the wicked witch of the wast minus the flying monkeys I will do nothing, I tried for the last time last year, called her up (since she refuses to see me(and vise versa)) and asked her what she wanted for mother's day...I figured the least I could do was send her a card right?

she pretends to think about it and then says what she wants can't be sent in a box...
Now I thought she ment love or something else idiotic, but no.
When I didn't answer...because hell I didn't know what she ment right?
She asked me like I was stupid how you ship a better daughter through the mail...
Really mom I can at least say I tried, now I may not be the best person under the sun (and i'm not)

I don't remember the last time I saw my mom on Mother's Day, but I normally call her and secretly make a card for her. I normally draw a picture of her as a kid. ^_^
