The family cleans up the house, we make supper for her, give her the gifts we bought/made, and lots of hugs and kisses.

As I have grown older I've realized its important to always be nice/helpful/respectful to my mother whenever I can, not just on mothers day. She really is my rock and biggest supporter.

On mothers day I plan to serve her breakfast in bed...maybe go to church...hopefully garden...and then make a big dinner. I also always get a gift with sib's help and we all celebrate as a family. Ever year I grow older family becomes more important to me.

Sadly I lost my Mom to Diabetes three years ago. I will be spending the day at home with my sweetie whose own Mom is traveling abroad.

And let's not forget the Dad's in the lives of many who may be the only Mom they have ever known.

Yes i love my mother too heart , sometimes we are quarrelling (my mom dosent like my girlfirend), (but the Dad is accepting), so maybe this time she will soften.

I don't usally give my mummy things, she already has enough junk to clutter the house and enhough cards from my younger elementary years so, what I do is some stuff my mum said she would always get around to doing but never had the time. We once planted her roses and weeded the garden for her.
But I think my favorite mothers day thing we did for my mummy is when we wrote to tim hortons and told them about how my mum is always working and never has time to visit timmies for a cup of coffee which is her favorite. And we offered 20 of our chickens for a tim hortons coffee maker and surprisingly we actually got it (they didn't feel the need to accept the chickens lol).

This year though, since I am on Katimavik I made my mummy this corny homemade card that looks like a Kindergardener made it that says the 7 reasons why I love my mummy.
