Mother's Day is a day to recognize the important women in your life, whether it's your Mom, Step-Mom, a mother figure, sister, or Grandmother. The relative relation to you is not what's important. It's a day to remember, celebrate, and thank the women who make a difference in your life. Formally, the day is named Mother's Day, but really, it should be A Day for Women.

Who do you recognize and how do you celebrate Mother's Day?

Since I wont be able to visit her this time, I am going to call her on the phone to say "Hi" adn to wish her Happy Mother's Day. 4laugh

I usually get my mom a little something. I kinda disagree with the idea that it's a day to somehow celebrate womanhood rofl I dunno, I'm female, but I don't think being a woman is terribly special.

We could always get technical and say Mother's Day is a different day in certain countries....it just happens to be the second Sunday of May for the mass majority. xd

My mother already made plans for us. She's like, let's go to IKEA on Mother's Day! Mother's get a free meal! LOL. Ha her... xd

I'm taking my mother, aunt, lover, and lovers mother out for lunch, and my grandmother and great aunt (who are sisters) out for breakfast. I've been saving and planning for over a month!

I am bad at choosing gifts. And I don't have much talent to create somthing, and I can't cook.
So I go for Cards.

Yet half the time, the Cards don't say what I feel...so I take a long time choosing one I like, that she would like.
