Did you know that Labor Day originated as a result of labor disputes in the 1870s in Canada? It's true! Workers went on strike and apparently a parade broke out during the labor stand-off (that's the way to do it, right?). Ten years later, the US indoctrinated this holiday so we could enjoy parades and time off of work as well. smile

So, enjoy the holiday and be sure to take one last dip in the Towns pools, as they will be going away on Tuesday. We couldn't convince anyone to clean them during the winter, so we're filling up the holes instead!

In celebration of the holiday, organize a parade, swim party, or BBQ in your favorite area of Towns and have fun with your friends! You can recruit people for your celebration right here! Have fun!!!
