How do you keep your Gaia account safe?

I change my password often.	5.6%	[ 208 ]
I don't share my account (or password) with anyone.	34.4%	[ 1277 ]
I keep the email on my account current in case I need to do password recovery.	3.5%	[ 130 ]
I pay attention to the URL that I'm logging into to make sure it's www.gaiaonline.com.	4.6%	[ 169 ]

We pester because we care. The last thing we want is for you to have your account compromised by some conivving jerk who steals all your items and gold and makes you sad. So, if you haven't taken the time recently, please go update your password! Make it all long and ugly, with letters, numbers, and whatever else you can fit in there. The longer and more complicated it is, the harder it is to crack.

While you're at it, make sure your account is attached to a working email account that you can still access. If it's not, update it! Doing both these things goes a long way toward keeping your Gaia experience smooth and carefree. Well, that and making sure that you ONLY login to pages that actually say www.gaiaonline.com and not some prankster phishing site with a funny URL. Oh yeah, and don't give your password to anyone, not even your brother/sister/boyfriend/girlfriend. Trust us on this one.

I don't really share my account and password. Even though some of the offers are yummy. But still no. Hooray.

Maybe I should go for a new password then o.o;; And often too D: But that's gonna be hard. Psshh.
