I'm not going for the cosplay (I generally find cosplay extremely annoying. Though I do enjoy when people cosplay but don't take even remotely seriously)
I'm going just to go and enjoy the con. See what venders have to sell, meet up with people, just have a good time.

SakuraCon will be my first anime convention ever. Hailing from Oregon.

I leave tomoroow to a friends house, which will be our Checkpoint B on the trip. Checkpoint A is probably Clackamas Mall, since I was told to meet them there.

I hope the landwhale glomp stories /a/ tells me about aren't true, I'd hate to have my first experience ruined.

This'll be my sixth year going! I'm already working out lodging arrangements with a friend in Bellevue, but I'm sure they'd understand if I chose a place a little closer to the action. If you still have a free slot and don't mind a random local dude hanging with you all, drop me a PM. wink

This will be my sixth Sakura-con and I'll be turning eighteen on the 6th, so I'm pretty pepped.

I'll be cosplay Popura Taneshima from Wagnaria aka Working!!, Zakuro from Otome Youkai Zakuro, and then maybe Sealand from Hetalia. I haven't quite decided who I want to go as on Sunday. ^ ^;

Up until today I thought I had the funds to stay at a hotel two nights, but now I've been told otherwise. ; _______ ; Now I'm just hoping the con itself makes up for it.
