This is basically a HUGE gathering for ppl who play rpgs or read comics such as:
1.) DND
2.) Finial Fanstay
3.) World of Warcraft
4.) Gaiaonline
5.) Comic Books (Batman, etc...)
and so on...
people also dress up as..:
1.) elves
2.) Cloud
and etc.

When i went there i was able to meet Chewy...(Star Wars)

I never make it to Gencon, even though it's only a 45 minute drive for me... but planning on going Sat this year, so hopefully I can catch the Gaia event. heart

Well, if you pre-register online and get your badge by mail during the Pre-Reg time, I think it varies from 50-64$.

But since it's passed that point, it costs $78 at the door to get a badge for all three days of the convention. I missed pre-reg. So I guess I'll be sitting in line for a while. :[

Yeah, but at a con there's way too much security and people around for anything to happen. heart

But sometimes there will be large crowds of people where it's hard to monitor everything. There is usually a group of gaians that hang out in the Westin under the escalators that just chill and talk when they have nothing to do. They will most likely walk to the dance in a large group. Most of those creepy older people travel alone and don't interact as much.

Gencon is $78 for a 4 day badge, $48 for a one day on either Thurs or Sat. The Gaia event doesn't have a separate fee.
