true but at the same time the person could try to blame gaia for turning them tward the underage person in the first place even then the person might not get away with it for the fact of it happening off site wow you have a good point but still there should be some kind of buddy system in rl so that if two people did hook up on gaia and wanted to meet in rl there would be securety in the fact that there is a friend there to keep you safe and help if needed.

If a nasty person really wanted too, two young people would be no problem for him/her. Personally I don't see any reliable mechanics for a buddy system on gaia anytime soon. Best defense is common sense.

Yeah, but how often do those sites offer free communication between members? It's free to join them but they destroy your wallet with all the fees they attach to almost every feature offered on whatever site. At least on here, users are able to communicate with others free of charge or without any kind of obligation. I think it'd be a neat little experiment to see how it turns out.

Done that, threw it on the scrap heap - it was called the personals.

It was apparently deeply infested with cybering of the "man want cat-girl slave" kind. I don't think gaia would like to go through that again.

Right now the cybering seems to be nicely spread out to the more unnoticed/skanky/troll-infested parts of gaia. The last thing we want is to give them a breeding nest somewhere right in the centre of attention.
