I like the current winter theme for the footer, but I don't like the snowman where it is now. Maybe move it off somewhere so that it doesn't block links?

I love the idea of a themed footer, but the snowman is overkill. It would be perfect if it was removed.
It just gets in the way and is really distracting!

The Idea isn't bad, but I'd say the execution is lacking. If you were to make the change more subtle and keep it on the footer only (as opposed to having it float in front of what I'm trying to read) I don't see any down sides. But having a snowman (or any other character) floating off the footer and blocking things on the page is a bad idea. So like a said, good idea, poor execution.

i like it but the snowman is in the way! maybe put it next to the dayitem box or up there somewhere. also its cool too and have a guy for the seasons like spring a flower have holladay ones too like mole from groundhogs day lol. spring also a bunny

The snowman is a bit to big. If it could just be down sized a bit then that would be perfect!

It's a very cool idea, but I didn't like this particular one. The snowman was intrusively big, and the footer being white made it blend in with the forum background.

I like it, but the snowman is in the way, but I think it's cool that it is linked to winter themed items

maybe add themes not just holidays. Colors and patterns. Or matching Gaia related themes. So all my Headers and colors can match. Even when it's not a holiday, I think custom Footers add more fun.

I think it would be nice to have a customizable footer, with patterns, colors, & themes. BUT the one that's there now is a bit distracting. I'm not loving the snowman. I feel like he gets in the way.... So it would be cute to be themed, just nothing sticking out like the snowman.

Like everyone has said, the snowman is too big.

If he was just on the footer or even smaller/you had an option to move him around [like I originally thought was possible, heh] then I think it'd be ok
