This lab will give you a nice, simple "glow indicator" right next to the tip button whenever anyone has a glowing tank. It should lag substantially less than the flash signatures. Please try it out and let us know what you think below!

This is amazing.

I can turn off my fishtank and people can still play it.
I can turn off other users fishtanks and still play them.
Not to mention the easier browsing and reduced lag, even in the game it seems!

I wonder why it was not implemented immediately.

I thought it would be more indicative of the time left before the tank glows (like a meter, instead of a button), but since it's a button...

would the button just appear when it's glowing and not be there otherwise or will it be there idle until it's glowing and then become active?

When I was in this thread Merina Lopez had a glowing booty grab tank.
First, I activated this lab and refreshed the thread.
The "GLOWING" button appeared.
Then I went to my user settings, and turned off all tanks in signatures.
Again I refreshed this thread and Merina Lopez's reply still had the "GLOWING" button by it, even though her tank was not in her signature any more.

So far, this works 100%

After tried it a couple more times, could be posible to open the tank on a new tab instead than on a pop up window? tabs lags less for me at least

The time was maybe 5-10 minutes before I posted about the problem. That wasn't the first time it happened; I'll try to keep track if it happens again while I'm avoiding the gym/homework.

Beachcomber58 has a 'glowing' button on her post, but according to the analyzer, her tank stopped glowing 2 minutes ago.

You have made my day! I'm so happy to see this.

I made an SF thread and posted in your journal last year requesting some form of low-lag indicator for Booty Grab.

And now you seem to have come up with a good solution. Back when I made that thread, we didn't have the "Tip" button. So I never thought to suggest a button with the others over our posts. So simple. Well done. I hope it works well for everyone.

I don't like it. I think that booty grab shouldn't really be made more convenient.

This is to convenience users with slower computers, or users who are still running on dial-up and don't have the option to switch to something better.

It also reduces lag.

Not happy. People are trying it and saying it disables the toggle, that once you try it you are stuck with it. Also - the button is in the wrong place. You would have to page up to the button and page back down to the tank to play bg. I have a laggy laptop, and do believe me the lag really shows when I try to page up or page down on a page full of tanks.

Rethink this one.

you just have to click the button to load the game.
you can turn off tanks in signatures and it will still show up and let you play.

personally i love the feature.
i've had the tanks turned off since it was causing problems for my computers and i missed being able to play.
its nice now to be able to see a tank is glowing.
please make this permanent.
