I don't know if I sound stupid or not but how do level up.

Buy Alchemy formulas. Obtain ingredients. Make the item. If it works and you successfully make an item, you gain a little experience. Repeat until you level up.

Of course, most ingredients aren't currently available, so...

Getting Formulas: If you don't buy them in the Bifrost shop, and you don't buy them in the Cash Shop (1 Cash each), you can buy them on the Marketplace or just wait for a Gift Box/Trunk to appear for you. One formula will be in each Gift Box.
