This thread is for me to post my findings about alchemy in general.
If you wish to add something to this report please pm me with your discovery and proof of truth.

A little about the alchemist:

I have been into alchemy since it was released (not very long i know).
I dropped all my other quests and started funding my alchemic research.
I am currently a level 3 alchemist.

here is what i have gathered so far:

when at the following levels you will get the indicated exp from the following formula levels

Current level..............formula level.............exp gained

level 1....................... level 1....................... 1exp

level 2........................level 1....................... 1exp
level 2....................... level 2....................... 2exp

level 3....................... level1........................ 0exp
level 3....................... level 2........................2exp
level 3....................... level 3....................... 3exp


according to this pattern when i am level 4 my guess is that i can no longer gain exp from level 2 formulas.

there must be a cap of only getting exp from forumlas that are at your level or one under your level....

I also buy gaia cash to get gold and buy everything i can for a recipe but some items aren't released yet. i constantly check the forums and marketplace for these items. such as the 1 bamboo stick needed for tama's basket. i have all other ingredients
