As I heard it, the first five people to reach Level 10 in Alchemy got a different version of the formula, a much much easier version. crying

But that's why there's a crafted entry for the Crown in the MP: it's from one of those.

The first five level ten Alchemists had an easy-peasy path to craft theirs: ten Formula 1: Aspiring Alchemists. No one that I know of that reached level ten after that even attempted that painful formula and component chain.
