It is, since sometimes items don't exactly look right or are drawn right on the avatar bases. Plus it'd be nice to see the detailing too. Maybe they will hopefully.
I'm not too happy with the formulas since alot of the items are from rigs or rare finds. I just hope that they will work out that so that the ingredients can be more common than what we have now. So far besides the ingredients-wise, it looks interesting I think. Plus I'm seeing the black headwings in the announcement that I suggested a long time ago. x:

Maybe, but that would probably be going against what they promised to never do. Although it wouldn't be the first time they did. -shrugs- who knows, just hope they'll tweak it to make it more fair for people get what they need to make things.

I'm just unsure if I want to craft any more... given we have no previews for for the items.. Even if we did have a preview for them... we'd still have to wait till the 'shininess' dies down and the MP settles ( not sure if that'll happen or if the prices will be the same again given the lack of materials to work with). Dx

I know what you mean. I was hoping some of the more expensive ones would go down since they can be crafted now, but it looks like it'll be a pain in the a** to get them in the first place. If anything, the MP will go up again. ;o;

I'm very please to see a thread addressing this issue.

I am not one to partake in these "RIGS" or "chances", I prefer
to just buy the items.

Seeing none of these items on the MP is making me rather bothered.
I'm not going to buy countless amounts of "ingredients" and the right to mix them
if I can merely buy the item on the MP. Not to mention I wish to know if
I truly want the item.

Please do not get me wrong, this idea is nice (just very unplanned), I do
enjoy that they are giving everyone another chance at expensive items
and the fact that there's newer ones along with them is great too. I just
don't like these kinds of games.

Hopefully Gaia will update the MP and this new feature soon.

They've already got Alchemy Want Ads subforums, so people will most likely find a way around it. Someone's gonna make a lot of money off selling finished items.

Some of the items can be previewed. When you are in the Alchemy shop, if you click the one you want it will open the scroll. On the scroll it will have links. The bottom link (next to the item you will create) will take you to any of the front page Market listings for that item. Some of the rarer items obviously have no actual listing, but some of them do.

The 'Fail' option makes it sound like the MP will be much cheaper than actually bothering to make the item yourself.

Yeah, the MP is gonna probably be worse than ever with everything skyrocketing... then there's people who'll buy everything up and sell them higher. -_-
Meaning only those who's rich enough will beable to craft the items and level up.... not very fair.
Hopefully they'll hear us out and listen to any suggestions about tweaking it to make it more balanced ( and adding a preview... because the only way to preview is the MP... which well right as of now... near impossible to preview anything on there yet cause nothing's been crafted/put up to sell on there yet.) .
