So..I am a bit confused..is Alchemy a gold-dump like lotto and auctions?
It is certainly a function designed to take gold out of the economy, but so is the 2% MP tax. While it will be taking gold out of the system, this doesn't inherently mean that it is not without value, or that you can't personally profit from it (from crafting services or being a component supplier), or get items which you think are worth the expenditure.
Welcome! Essentially the goal of this thread is to help co-ordinate useful guides and links, and provide a simple summary for those who don't know a whole lot about Alchemy, and help them make informed decisions. As far as I am aware, there is no other thread serving this purpose in the Alchemy forum, and I feel that it could be a useful thing to have, to help avoid repeat threads/questions or to direct people to who have these questions.
Like my other guide I made for ZOMG, I consider this to be a community effort for the community. I welcome constructive criticism, and proof reading. Lots of proof reading.
