Ok - I just got Leathery Egg from an Enki's Drop. It has cache as a key word but I don't see it in any of the caches or even on the main component list. Anyone know where it comes from, what its used in or what its worth?

The Leathery Egg is a long-standing mystery in Alchemy. There are no known formulas that use it. It's possible that it was intended to be used in a certain formula, but then they changed their mind. There are also no Caches that contain it, so my best guess as to why it has the "cache" keyword is that it was once a rare drop in the Philosopher's Cache back before the color-coded caches were created, when the Cache was just a RIG that contained hundreds of component game items. After the update, no one in Gaia Staff thought to update the tag. Item tags don't get anywhere near the respect they should, really.

I collect Daily Chance pretty close to every day, on six different accounts, and I've only gotten one, maybe two, since they first came out. Pretty darn rare.

Eggshells are one of the Alchemy components which are Daily Chance grants only. So, the only places you can get them from are the MP, Daily Chance, or Lite Fish drops which act as a Daily Chance.
