What language[s] do you want to learn?

I'm going to have to quote a few others before me by saying that I'd love to learn any and every language there is!
But, back to reality..

Languages I actually can speak to some degree are Finnish (supposed to be my first language?!), English, Japanese (got to brush up on the kanji though..) and Swedish (maybe..?).

Other than the above mentioned, I have also studied/am studying quite a few languages, including Mandarin, French, Russian, German, Korean and a few others.

Right now/primarily I would like to learn Mandarin Chinese, I suppose. And more Swedish, as I have a big test coming up on it. sweatdrop
Korean would be great as well, as I have a friend who is very much into the culture and the language, but alas, my brain can't seem to get around the grammar. Or any part of the language to be honest..

In the future I would like to go back to some of the languages I have studied earlier and perhaps try to learn Hindi and some African dialect(s).

I wish good luck (and strength!) to everyone on their language studies!

Right now I am teaching myself Japanese, and it's not easy. I hope to take classes in the future but can't afford to. I am a beginner.

Other than Japanese though, I'd love to learn Korean and French. I studied some Spanish in high school but forgot most of it T . T

I know what you mean. And I think Japanese is a beautiful language! It's just a lot to learn because it's a whole new language, of course XD

All I can remember from Spanish are, "Hola, como estas?" "Muy bien. Y tu?" "Soy muy cansada." "Donde eres?" "Que pasa?" and I may know more if I hear it, but I never used the language so I lost everything I learned .

I'm sorry to hear about you and your friend though. Unfortunately that kind of growing apart isn't all that uncommon these days.

Honestly, I don't know if it's so much about ambition, but rather I've just been very lucky when it comes to studies - all the schools I've attended have had a nice selection of courses in several foreign languages. Additionally I have attended night school classes, travelled/lived abroad and studied by myself a little. So I think I've simply been blessed with many opportunities!

Those are fun! My friend is half Korean and I'm part Italian (unfortunately I do not know the language, so I wanna learn it too lol) and Japanese would just be fun!

Spanish-- I don't know any really. my mom used to speak to me in it when I was little
German-- I know pretty well
Korean-- I have a friend who is half korean
Chinese-- Don't know at all... Chinese would be useful in todays world :]
