A small question for those who speak Tagalog...

I want to say "Can I borrow that pencil?" . Is the proper way to say it
"Pahiram isang lapis" ?
If not.. what did I just say? sweatdrop

Also, I've been saying "My brother is a cow" in tagalog a lot (Kuya ko ay isang baka). Mostly because that's the only insult I know.

Any other ones that you know of about insulting annoying brothers?
