I never visited America,Hawaii or Alaska,But here in Europe there are countries where the number of tourists is not bad at all.

Same reason most Americans only visit capital cities and other generally well-known cities of other countries..?

I've never been to America, if I ever do then yeah I will be visiting a more well known state.
If it was a more interesting country I would, and have plenty of times, visit smaller places too.

Ehhh, I prefer to go to the least visited places in America. I've been quite a few times
now and I've been in nearly 20 of the states so far. I like the quieter places
because some of them can be really pretty. And after you've been places like New
York, Florida, and California, you get sort of bored. I've been trying to get my
parents to organise a trip to Alaska since my grandmother went there the other
year and said it was nice (but then, that was when she had her heart attack so she
spent most of it in a hospital xDDDD).

And obviously, there's some states we're really reluctant to visit. We had to drive
through a couple in particular to reach another and we got really worried because
some areas don't have the best reputation. Not naming any names, obviously.

I'm in Philadelphia and I see tourists and people on business trips and school trips all the time. Mostly downtown though. Then again you really don't want to be in some of the neighborhoods at night. sweatdrop

Just last winter there was a group of girls from New Zealand who were from a dance school. There was some sort of international dance exhibition here.

Around the holidays there are alot of people coming in at the train stations from out of state. Either they took Amtrak or they boarded the regional rail after leaving the airport.

All we really have here are museums and historical landmarks. So unless you are in to that stuff I guess you wouldn't really enjoy it all that much. I love that kinda stuff but I've hardly bothered to visit that many of them. sweatdrop

We were voted the rudest and ugliest people several years in a row. It's pretty embarrassing. But after that damned Phillies parade last year i do kinda agree. sweatdrop

Boy I really like that sweatdrop emoticon.

Hmm, there are some pretty interesting places in America if you ask me, but maybe they just don't interest you.

If nothing else, come for the nature. We have some spectacular places here. wink

In order to build a high mountain you must first build a wide base.
