yes I also think so... Im living in a other country.. but the news is every time going about Obama or McCain.. ok.. its a worldstate.. but it isn't our business..

Yes, it is definitely our business too. Not just ours, everybody's. The United States and its president still have such a huge impact on the rest of the world, whether we want it or not.

Ennen presidentinvaaleja muissa maissa tehtiin myös kannatusmittauksia. Kaikki Euroopan maat olisivat ylivoimaisesti äänestäneet Obaman presidentiksi (Suomessakin peräti yli 80% vastanneista?)
Tietääkseni tasan neljässä maassa niistä kaikista kannatettiin enemmän McCainia Obaman sijaan, ja yksi niistä oli Angola. eek

I'm trying to learn Finnish...but it keeps mixing with the Spanish I'm learning..so I end up saying things in finnish with a spanish accent. And I don't have much time to learn it with all my schooling and stuff.

I only know a few swear words...

Is it actually possible to mix Spanish and Finnish? surprised
I wonder what the results sound like...
Studying Spanish seems to be pretty fashionable in my university. I guess I'll also have a bash at it sometime in the future.

It is possible. It's mostly where you roll the Rs and stuff.

My school only offers french, spanish and german. I wish I took german, but in the experimental stage of school...where you try everything, I had a bad experience with my german teacher.

My school offers Spanish, French, and German for a little while...

I decided to take Spanish. In my second year, I fell in love with finland.
Oh boy did I make mistakes at times sweatdrop

I would always translate random words into Finnish instead of Spanish.
Counting was a tounge twister for me.... uno, dos, tres, neljä.....

Plus side was I could basically say anything I want without being understood.
..If only I can say what I want. My Finnish is even more poor than my Spanish...
