why?
you know what would have happened if they stayed in Africa right? they would have been ritually beheaded castrated, and their genitals would have been eaten. that's only the men. the women would have been raped multiple times and either kept as breeding stock or killed shortly after.

Super late, but... I came home from Europe and it hadn't rained here in California at all while I was gone (meaning we're in a drought + everything is on fire + its hot(ish).) If you live in California long enough, you learn to hate the blasted sun more than anything. emotion_donotwant I see it 350 days of the year. It's smothering me. I need a break from this relationship :c I will gladly take a year of Wales overcast weather a little early right now.

Rain is a much safer topic than certain films, I always know when I'm back in the UK because the weather usually (but not always) greets me with drizzle.

Also in 9 minutes or so...I get to feel really really old... sweatdrop

certain times of the year, Lancaster just feels like Winterfell....above here be Cumbria...where there be a few towns and some sheep. Above that...Civilisation re-starts, I miss going to Scotland.

Never been into the winter olympics is it good ?

Some bits are the best, and some bits are horrifically boring. Curling and skating are rubbish, but snowboarding and skiing are great.

It's not... REALLY hot right now in summer standards. But it's been around 70 degrees Fahrenheit. I think we set a record high this month, actually... Usually it's about 54 degrees Fahrenheit in January. But as opposed to summer heat (Yanno... 94-110 degrees fiery hell status) it's pretty darn pleasant.

But because it hasn't been raining, we're having a really bad drought, so it sucks a bit. Means we'll be extra on-fiery this summer. (We are often on fire in several places in the summer. This should not be normal, but it is. emotion_donotwant )

It's true though. I love the rain so I'm looking forward to that when I move to the UK! Only bad thing is that the humidity makes my hair look totally crazy, so I'm going to have to figure out how to fix that issue here in the next few months.

Yeah, for me it snowed around midday for around an hour. Then it just turned to sleet.
