Anyone live in Bristol? Or is somewhat familiar with the area?
My partner and I are going up there for the weekend to visit his Aunt, and we're wondering what there is to do there.
We're sort of boring. Not into clubbing or wild parties. We like books, comics, walking, record shops, and architecture (more his thing than mine, but I do like some of it too).
Suggestions?

Yeah, the only thing that might be interesting is a zine fair that is happening on Sunday. I'm hoping it isn't all dense political stuff about smashing the state and riot squads (not that I'm entirely opposed, but those subjects are boring and have been written to death). I want to read about mushy stuff like bad first dates.

I do : they have the Bristol hippadrome which is a theatre so you can see a show, there is the cinema deluxe where the new shopping centre is its amazing! They also have museums near Bristol university. I recommend the hippodrome and also flavorz which is an all you can eat restaurant right next to it.
