week? Nice. If you don't mind me asking, what kinds of things are you planning to do while
you're here? General touristy sort of exploring, or...?

Yeah, normal tourist type stuff. This is my first time. Dad's third and mom's forth, however. So they kinda know what to do and where to go. Although the last time they went was in the late 80s. XD I imagine it's changed quite a bit since then.

We're doing the Tower of London, Parliament, Big Ben, London Eye, Abbey Road Studios, Bus Trip to Murder (Jack the Ripper and Sweeney Todd spots), Baker Street, British Museum, Stonehenge, Oxford Uni, couple of Harry Potter film spots, etc.

I was upset there's no shows to go to around that time though. I had wanted to queue up for Top Gear tickets or pay to see a live Boosh show. Always A Christmas Carol to see, however.

But, ooh, the British Museum! I love it there. I always remember going to the Egyptian
galleries when I was little and running around the statues with my sister.

Oooh yes, I'm excited about the British Museum. :3 I'm an art major and had Art History I this semester (covered up until the middle ages). A lot of the stuff we talked about will be there and I look forward to getting to see it in person.

Shame there's no Shakespeare going on at the Globe. That's always quite an "English" experience - I love the Globe personally and go every year.

my only worries is about my mom and her boyfriend.. they are in Montreal, Canada and there's a huge snowstorm hitting the region today and their flight is today.. I hope the flight won't be cancel.. so I'm nervous a bit.. hopefully they will make it safely..

they are flying with air france to Charle de Gaule in paris and then with British Airways, going to Newcastle! I need to pray and make sure they will get here alright! heart

I know it IS the British thread, but it doesn't mean you can't hang in here if you aren't British! lol! It's just a lot of the stuff we talk and b***h about tend to be UK related (surprise surprise).
