The one thing that constantly bugs me if I travel is "How hot/cold is the place I'm going to?" because it would suck to be wearing a simple long-sleeve sweater and jeans in a snow-storm.

So I thought we could all list the state/province we're located in, the country, the month, the time of day, and the temperatures. No cities, please. I don't want anyone getting stalkers who know just what city they live in.

If you feel like placing pictures of the general area (Like how frikkin GREEN it is in WINTER) in this, that's okay, just so long it doesn't show your house. Or your address. I guess it can show YOU, but that's you're choice.
In example:

Quote:
Alaska, USA
December, 28º Fahrenheit

You can converse about stuff other than that. As long as it pertains to what the topic is...

Also, since, as a wise gaian pointed out, this IS an international forum, I've looked up how to convert;

Fahrenheit to Celsius
* Begin by subtracting 32 from the Fahrenheit number.
* Divide the answer by 9.
* Then multiply that answer by 5.

Celsius to Fahrenheit
* Begin by multiplying the Celsius temperature by 9.
* Divide the answer by 5.
* Now add 32.
(info gotten from WikiAnswers.)

(I swear, we're going to end up having a conversation about Chuck Norris and finger-painting... )

Texas, USA
November, 78º Fahrenheit

Southern California, USA, November, late afternoon, 62 degrees.

And this is what it looks like year-round around here: http://pics4.city-data.com/cpicc/cfiles34946.jpg

Even in winter, everything is green.

You might want to provide both Celsius and Farenheit. This is the International forum, and I believe most non-Americans use Celsius.

Only Americans like to use Farenheit. If you don't provide a Celsius conversion, it will confuse a lot of people. =)

True, hadn't thought of that.... gonk I just need to find the conversion formula...

Standing on my elbow
With my finger in my ear,
Biting on a dandelion,
And humming kind of queer
While I watch a yellow caterpillar
Creeping up my wrist,
I leaned on a tree
And I said to me,
"Why am I doing this?"

I just need to find the conversion formula...
C = 5/9*(F-32)
F = 9/5*C + 32

There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.
