Question for the American Females

Hi there.

I'm contemplating purchasing an item from overseas (USA obviously) and I'm a little confused onhow the sizing works out there. You see, I myself am a British size 14, which I know equates to an American size 10. So here's the deal. Some of your sizes come in Small, Medium or Large. I would like to know whether a Medium or a Large equates to an American size 10 or not. Help would be much appreciated as I'm kinda keen to buy the item.

Unfortunately, it varies. Sizing here really isn't standardized, especially going back and forth between numbered sizes and {small, medium, large}.

If you know the manufacturer/vendor and what sort of clothing article it is, you might be able to get more specific help (IE: some always run smaller).

I'd say usually size 10 is a medium, but like lili said it isn't standardized so it can vary.
