Germany, Sweden, Russia, Hungary, Syria, Denmark, and if my grandmother is correct, Mongolia or Northern China. eek

I did some research on the Mongolia/Northern China thing, and it turns out that it's not unheard of for people from Eastern Europe to have DNA from East Asia...so maybe she was right. *shrug*

----

I read something awhile back on European ancestries that says that, today, there are very very few people who are purely from one ancestry in Europe. Because of the history of the continent, most people are slightly mixed. So even if you're French going all the way back, you could have had a distant ancestor from Italy or Germany or another country.

In order to build a high mountain you must first build a wide base.

Patient in...

Well American, but from that I know that I have German, French, British, and so small a portion of Native American that it doesn't even count....more than likely I got it from my French side...
(I'm not from any Latin country or Spain and yet I speak quite a bit of Spanish xd how does that happen? Oh and I speak virtually no German and French....)
