大家好！我是广东人，可是我在中学学了汉语四年了。我开始忘了哈哈。

我学了十年的国语，但是近几年都没用到。。。现在讲／写出来非常费神@——@

哈哈。我从来都没说过国语所以我怕我写得不好。我会说广东话，可是我的国语是一般的。

So I only know a small amount of Mandarin Chinese but I do have some serious questions to anyone who either has lived in or visited China. This summer I am going on an academic trip Beijing, Xi'an, Shanghai, and Hong Kong. I want to know as much as possible before I go there. I am hoping someone on this thread might have some information for me.

One of my biggest concerns is the use of money and the conversion from the USD to Chinese money (which sadly I am unsure what that is)

I've taken Chinese for 6 years now (from 6th grade to now: 11th grade). I'd continue to type in Chinese in more depth, but it takes too long. I'm more handy when it comes to writing or speaking.
