【o2. School starts at...】

ɑt what time do the high schools starts in the USA?
It matters on school district. Mine starts at 8:45.
How many hours of classes do teenagers have a day? What time do they leave school?
Schedule at my school is broken down into 7 periods about 55 minutes each (I might be wrong about the minutes). It ends at 4:05, so I guess school is about 7 hours.

【o3. Drinking】

I know that the drinking age for you guys there is 21 years old (That's correct, right?), but how likely is it for you guys to get illegal beer/alcohol at bars and pubs? Is the bars/pubs posture absolutely strict about drinking age or is there always some places where minors can buy alcohol without being pestered for ID and such?

Well bars will get into mega trouble if they sell to minors so they're probably strict about it (I'm not really sure since I never tried buying alcohol). The easiest way to get is is just to have someone older buying it for you.

Well I go to a public school in Texas and we go 8 hours a day, 25 minute lunch, 47 minute classes and we go from 8:30a.m.-3:45p.m.

Most people will drink before 21, I won't because alcohol is repulsive.

I don't have a car, but most people do where I live, well I do sorta, but it's not technically mine and I can't drive it yet even though I'm of the legal age. I know nothing of cars, but people generally buy automatic since it is easier.

Deal with it.
Schools run differently depending on the state and it's .. 'board of education' as you could say, or at least for Hawaii that's what we call it. I know in other area's in the USA that it has different name's.

In Hawaii, or at least where I live.

School starts at 8:00 but we get five minutes to get to class.
Usually it's an hour each except for lunch and recess
and over here we get out at 2PM on normal days.
On Wednesday's we get out at 12:38.

【o1. Automatic x Manual (Gear/stick shift) cars】

ɧow atteinable is an automatic car in the USA? How different is the price, in comparison to manual cars? Are the automatic cars only atteinable to rich people, or are the manual cars only bought by less welfare families?

-I do not own a car so I cannot comment on differences in price. I believe that manual transmission is usually cheaper however. My family is reasonably well off and drives only manual cars (except a really cheap automatic my parents bought so my sister can drive to/from school/work etc). Manual cars are less common in the U.S. than automatics, I think because people are lazy and don't want to learn to drive one. I can drive both an automatic and a manual car. I normally prefer driving a manual because I have greater control over the car and it is more gas efficent. In a city like the one I currently live in (don't live at home anymore) I would not want a manual as there are many steep hills, traffic is terrible, and people drive like manics.

ɑt what time do the high schools starts in the USA? How many hours of classes do teenagers have a day? What time do they leave school?

-I can only comment on my highschool: At my school classes started formally at 8am. There was the option to take a "zero" hour class before formal lessons that started at 7am. I took zero hour in order to fit a music class into my schedule. Our classes ended at 2:30pm. Thus a normal load would be 6 hours of class a day. A few students did only 5 because of work-study (they could leave an hour early for employment). Each class lasted 55 min and we has 25 min for lunch. On block period days we would go to only half our classes and have each class for 110 min and then next day we would then go to the other half of classes for 110 min each.

-Legal drinking age is 21. Bars and pubs in my experience card so the likely hood of getting illegal booze is low unless you have a good fake ID. Most people who drink underage drink at private parties where some one who is of-age buys the booze and those under may bring money to help pay that person back. Drinking in highschool and college before turning 21 is quite possible for those who want to do it.

Mmmm I have to say I don't know too much about this topic. Cars have a large range of prices. My family is a middle class working family and we have an automatic car; I guess it just depends on what your preference is.
Cars usually range in like...the $15,000 and up or something...but I might be wrong.. sweatdrop

ɑt what time do the high schools starts in the USA?

It really depends on both the district and school.
For example, even though we're all in the same district, my school starts at 7:50 while another starts at 8:00.
And on Wednesdays, we go to school later, to let us sleep in a little bit...so school starts at 8:47.

At our school, you are allowed to take 9 periods a day.
"0 period", as they call it, takes place before school, hence the "0". This is already considered one period. It usually starts at around 7-ish.
I, however, only take periods 1-6 as that covers all the classes I want to take. On normal days, i.e., Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, classes are 51 minutes. 6 minutes are allowed for passing - going to lockers, bathrooms, getting to another class, etc.
I really have no idea how long classes are on Wednesdays. Lol. Sorry. sweatdrop
And sometimes we have minimum days, in which classes are extremely short (29 minutes) and we all get out before 1 pm.
But usually, classes are from 7:50 - 3:05 (2:08 for me, since I get out earlier).

For reference, I go to a public high school in California.

Hahaha I don' t know too much about this either. sweatdrop But it's not really likely, from what I've heard, as they always check ID. I mean you could probably get some person to buy some alcohol for you and then pay them back later, but....eh. That's more of an ethics issue. And we've got a "zero tolerance" rule around here (or at least that's what they told us in Health class..o__O ) which means that if there is any alcohol found in a minor's possession, that minor is...screwed. Lol.

Hope this helps!!
Good luck!!
