Welcome to Gaia! ::

Well, I've been to Korea a couple of times. It was a lot of fun. I plan on going soon again for an exchange program to a university.

I haven't been to Korea but my friend went when she was younger. She told me if I ever go, to should visit the 38th parallel demilitarized zone and (she didn't get to do this) take a tour of one of the tunnels the North Koreans dug when they tried to invade Seoul. She said the DMZ was very creepy though and I imagine the tunnel is even scarier.

oh i went to the tunnel its actually not scary its just dark with a few lights, we had to wear helmets and it was really humid in there at first you have to go down hill and then when you had to go back up it was like a work out.ha.

wow! What was school like over there? hard? ^^;
I went to Korea last year for a soccer tournament. Let me warn you, driving there is hell, and Taxi drivers will scare you to death. When switching lanes and doing turns, the person will honk and than just go. Honking seems to be a way of life, and its just a friendly reminder that someone is coming. And the moment my taxi had enough space, he spead up as fast as possible, doing 100km in a 60km zone.

Crazy! When I was there I thought they honked because they were impatient lol
And I saw why Seoul has one of the highest fatality rates for a developed country.. Crazy road system!.. Some back roads don't even have proper signage.. I was amazed seeing cars taking turns passing eachother at a cross-intersection with no stop/go lights! With motorbikes weeving through!!
